MGoBlue recently caught up with Colton Christian:
"Before I went to East Asia I worked out with a coach at home named Pete Knoll. I workout with him when I’m at home. I was only at home for a month before I left for training for the AIA trip — we trained for a week before East Asia in Ohio just outside of Dayton. Now that I’m back, I’m getting on weightlifting programs and improving on other skills, like shooting."
In a bit of good news, Stanley Cup Champion and Michigan Alum Steve Kampfer told the Detroit News he plans on bring the cup back to Ann Arbor and Yost.
ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg ranked Michigan’s defensive line 5th in the Big Ten:
“This is a projection pick, but I think Michigan’s defensive front takes a significant step forward this season. Senior tackle Mike Martin is a bona fide NFL prospect and will lead the way, and players like Ryan Van Bergen and Craig Roh should be among the primary beneficiaries of the new defense under coordinator Greg Mattison. Michigan needs to build depth with Jibreel Black, Will Campbell and others, but there’s great potential here.”
GBMWolverine’s spring evaluation of Craig Roh. Maize ‘n Brew recently did a quick write-up on Desmond Howard. Thomas Rawls has been told that he won’t be redshirted. Jack Miller’s ready to go. Lloyd Carr is not surprised in the slightest that Brady Hoke has been cleaning up in recruiting.
Darius Morris on getting drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers:
“I am thankful and feel blessed that they picked me and just really excited to return home to L.A. I left L.A. on my journey to make the NBA, and now I’m back starting it here. Its just awesome [to be with] a championship program like the Lakers.”
