ANALYSIS
Scouts Inc., ESPN.com: “Wilson should emerge as an upper-tier free safety prospect in 2012. Has a lot of traits you look for at the position both physically and mentally. Possesses great size. Tall, well-built with good length and room to fill out. He flashes great range, particularly in deep coverage and good overall speed… He will need to continue developing physically to play down in the box and he does not have elite speed and explosiveness — but there are not many safety prospects with the positional intangibles of Wilson.”
Sean O’Connell, UMGoBlog.com: “Jarrod is a very instinctual football player as evident by his 10 interceptions in 2010. He does a great job of reading the quarterback and reacting very quickly. Wilson does a good job of going up to meet the ball, bringing it in and returning it for positive yardage. He also has very good size at 6’3", he will just need a little time to bulk up a little bit. I’d like to see a little more aggression and physicality out of him, but he is a great safety prospect.”
