On Michigan: “I thought they were nicest I’ve seen so far… the nicest facilities, the coaches were good, and everything about Michigan was good.”
Brady Hoke reportedly offered Clark a gray shirt scholarship, and he accepted. Meaning that he will be part of the 2013 class, with a slight chance he could slip in as part of the 2012 class if the recruitment of another player were to fall through that the Michigan staff has targeted.
Scout on his Camp Performance (6/24/11): “This 6-4, 175-lb. safety was one of the surprises of the day. He flashed good speed and EXCELLENT ball skills. He is a bit of a sleeper on the national scene because he has grown four inches since last fall. Just as impressive was the fact that he soaked up the coaching like a sponge and just seemed to really be relishing the overall experience. After his showing today, the Wolverines are definitely wide awake to his talents.”
Jack Slice, The Wolverine Blog: “He may be fast, but he doesn’t seem to be quick. He’s relatively sluggish coming out of cuts, and his acceleration could be more impressive. Both are fairly critical for a safety if you want him to be covering a deep third/half of the field. Additionally, I don’t see a lot of power to his hits, although that can be easily cured by putting on some weight.”
