HIGHLIGHTS
ANALYSIS
Jon Jennings, UMGoBlog.com: “Is another great outside linebacker prospect from the state of Michigan. Jenkins-Stone is a physical specimen for a sophomore at 6’2" 205 pounds. He has great speed and athletic ability. Very strong at the point of contact Jenkins-Stone is a tackling machine. His athletic ability allows him to play running back for Cass Tech but also helps him in pass coverage on defense.”
Allen Trieu, Scout.com (1/13/09): “Jenkins already looks like a senior, standing 6’2, 205-lbs. He looks like he could grow into an edge rusher, but looked pretty good in space and in coverage during 7-7s. He is physically ready to play and is a tough kid and that gives him a great chance to get on the field for Cass Tech this year.”
Scouts Inc., ESPN.com: “Jenkins-Stone is a tough, productive player showing the ability to stop the run and play coverage effectively. Has the size and athleticism for the outside linebacker position at the major level of competition … This guy has very good instincts; plays with the intensity and toughness necessary to create havoc anywhere on the field. It’s what we look for at the outside linebacker position. Jenkins-Stone has the frame to add some solid bulk over time; his present size and athleticism indicate the potential for early playing time at the next level of competition.”
