HIGHLIGHTS
ANALYSIS
Sean O’Connell, UMGoBlog.com: “I’m starting to wonder if Cass Tech has a factory that produces slightly undersized, yet great cornerback prospects. Richardson reminds me of Boubacar Cissoko. He doesn’t quite have the awesome back pedal Boo Boo had, but has great feet and hips and does very well in coverage. He doesn’t have blazing speed at this point, but does a great job of closing in quickly on receivers.”
Jon Jennings, UMGoBlog.com: “Will keep the Cass Tech Cornerback-High tradition rolling. Richardson is not the biggest CB however he has very fluid hips and very quick back pedal. Richardson also has the speed and athletic ability to cover smaller quick WR’s or jump with the bigger stronger WR’s.”
Allen Trieu, Scout.com (1/13/09): “ (Has) ball skills and ability to go up and battle for it with bigger receivers. He is a fluid athlete who doesn’t back down from anyone and he looks like a good bet to continue the tradition of cornerbacks that has been started at Cass.”
Sam Webb, Scout.com (WTKA’s Recruiting Roundup 2/23/09): “Extremely Fast. Taller than Dior Mathis, but a similar style of play. We’ll see if his physical development goes like Mathis.”
