ANALYSIS
Sean O’Connell, UMGoBlog.com: “One of the few players in the country that really has no flaws. At 6’5” 260 lbs., he already has a college ready frame. Joey plays with great technique, explosion and has a non-stop motor. He often is double teamed, but it doesn’t seem to matter as he still finds a way to get penetration. Bosa could make the move inside at college, but his skills would be best utilized at the strong side defensive end position. Joey would make an immediate impact at almost every program in the country.
Chad Simmons, Scout.com: “There is not much you don’t like when watching Bosa in action. He is a big defensive lineman that plays with good pad level and he consistently fires off the ball. He gets penetration and helps collapse the pocket on the high school level. In college, he will be a quick interior lineman or a strong and physical end. He has a lot of room to grow still into his frame and he is only going to get better.”
