ANALYSIS

Sean O’Connell, UMGoBlog.com: “Another amazing recruiting job done by Brady Hoke and Company. Likely a top 10 prospect universally for the 2015 class, you could make a strong argument that Campbell is the best receiver in high school football regardless of what class he is in. At The Opening earlier this month, the East Lake standout was arguably the top performer at the event running a 4.36 40 time and sporting a 37” vertical. He was also one of the youngest prospects in attendance. Campbell is obviously very fast, is great athlete, has fantastic ball skills and can go up and get jump balls with ease. He still has to fill out some, but he has a few more years to do that and I look for him to arrive in AA weighing around 195-200 lbs. George is an incredible athlete period and has limitless potential. The B1G has to be shaking in their collective boots knowing that in a few years they’ll have to compete with Drake Harris on one side of the field and this kid on the other. Good luck with that!”

Jamie Newberg, Scout.com: “Campbell has outstanding size, speed and measurables. He does a nice job of using his size to his advantage, especially with the ball in the air. He possesses outstanding ball skills and hand-eye coordination. He can box out and high point the ball. As a runner, he’s smooth with long strides. He really does a nice job of stretching out a defense. His size, growth and development will play a huge hand is what position he plays.”
