The Michigan Move

I’ve watched countless videos of hockey players practicing the Michigan Move in their basements or in their driveways.  Every time I see the move it reminds me of that moment in the 1996 Tournament when Mike Legg shocked us all with his “Lacrosse”-like goal that propelled U of M past Minnesota and on their way to a NCAA Championship.  I believe scoring the goal in a game is akin to bowling a 300 or hitting a grand slam. Here Kevin Mansolill scores the goal for his MJHL team, the Jacksonville Ice Dogs:

  • Definitely agree with what you stated. Your explanation was certainly the easiest to understand. I tell you, I usually get irked when folks discuss issues that they plainly do not know about.
