Palmetto Head Coach Chris Brown on Hardaway’s recruitment: ”I think it is a great fit. Michigan and Coach Beilein 
has been on Tim since early. The Elite camp went very well. Tim is everything Michigan expected. He is very skilled and has great instincts — that is what Michigan loves about him. Florida jumped on board recently. Tim went up to see coach Billy Donovan last Monday. From there, Tim went on to Michigan and that sealed the deal. Michigan is very excited to get him. I don’t think Tim has reached the ceiling of where he is going to be.”
ANALYSIS
UM Hoops: “I think Hardaway appears to be much more of a 2-guard in Beilein’s system rather than a three. His length is intriguing for playing at the top of the 1-3-1. I think he’s a good fit with his length and shooting. While he might not be the star player that some other targets in this class are, you are stuck with the bird in hand vs. two in the bush mantra.”
Brian Cook, MGoBlog: “Hardaway is another guy who fits in the Beilein mold, a lanky 6’4" shooter with the sort of basketball IQ you’d expect given his bloodlines; this is what the bulk of the roster is going to look like, in varying heights, as long as Beilein is in town.”
