This is a really really simple post I put together last week when I compiled how many likes on Facebook each respective college program has. Some teams like USC obviously are not social media friendly while some programs may surprise you with the numbers they’ve compiled. Enjoy:

The Collegiate Licensing Company (CLC) recently announced its rankings of top selling institutions & manufacturers for the 2011-2012 year. After coming in 4th last year, Michigan came in 5th, still far and away the leaders of the Big Ten teams. Kentucky jumped up four spots from 7th after winning the national title. This past weekend Michigan goalie Shawn Hunwick allowed one goal in a two game sweep over Miami (Ohio). For his efforts, Inside College Hockey named him the National Player of the Week. Over his last twelve games Hunwick has a 1.34 GAA and a .957 Save Percentage. Here is an interview Hunwick did last season:

The Michigan Wolverines Athletic Program finished 15th in the 2010/2011 school year standings. The Leerfield Sports Directors’ Cup gives points to the top ten programs male and female for each respective Division 1 sport. Stanford won the Director’s Cup for the 17th year in a row.
