The 2011 Sporting News College Football Preview is on newsstands right now. This year’s edition was lacking with bowl predictions by only ranking the Top 25 tea
ms.
The Wolverines are predicted to be a team on the rise and finish 4th in the Legends Division.
Sporting News makes All American predictions with Mike Martin on the third team. Selected to the All-Big Ten first team are Mike Martin, David Molk and Roy Roundtree.
In their rating the Big Ten section, Denard Robinson was chosen to be the Best Running QB and have the Best Instincts. The Top Impact Frosh is Delonte Hollowell and the Biggest Overachiever selected was Jordan Kovacs. Brady Hoke was named the Best Interview to which we can attest to be true. Brady can steal any press showing and his love for Michigan shows in every statement he makes. Sporting News also named the Wolverines’ Game-Changer to be Troy Woolfolk. Can’t disagree that his presence will cement the secondary in 2011 and I look forward to hearing about his dog’s latest exploits during future pressers
For recruiting, Michigan rated 5th in the conference with their Top 5 recruits being Blake Countess, Justice Hayes, Brennen Beyer, Antonio Poole & Chris Bryant.
