Rivalry Esq., a Big Ten Blog, recently broke down Tate Forcier’s throwing mechanics. The ratings are purely made on about 14 throws in the Spring Game and high school tape, so the guys here were doing the best with what they had but don’t take the grades too seriously.
Overall Snap: (B) – Security/Ball Placement: (B-) – Footwork: (A-) – Adaptation: (B-)
Overal Release: (B-) – Survey: (B+) – Stance: (A-/Inc.) – Step: (B) – Wrist/Throw: (C-)
Overall: (B-)
To gain a little bit of perspective on the grades so far, Penn State’s Daryll Clark rated as a B+ overall and Indiana’s Ben Chappell came in at a B/B+
