HIGHLIGHTS
QUOTES
On playing against Denard Robinson in 2008: “Playing against my cousin (former Deerfield Beach star quarterback Denard Robinson). We beat him during the regular season and I intercepted him twice during the playoff game-- and scored both times.”
On his visit to U of M: “It was great taking the trip to Michigan. I learned a lot of new things about the academics, and about the program. I met a couple players, coaches, and their wives and kids. Went to Rich Rodriguez’s house, and hung out and played video games. We were at the basketball game, too, that was fun. We all ran on the court after they won, which was fun.”
ANALYSIS
Scouts Inc.: “Dorsey is a remarkable athlete that has a great combination of athleticism and toughness. He has very good size and could even put on some bulk and not lose any of his speed or quickness … Dorsey is truly an exceptional athlete that will be even more of a dynamic football player with some lower body bulk and strength. He should be one of those unique players to hit the field early in his collegiate career.”
Scott Kennedy, Scout: “As athletic as any player in the country with his combination of great size, frame, speed, and first step quickness. He's further ahead athletically than as a player. He can get caught turning the wrong way, has trouble getting off blocks, and is sloppy in his tackling form, but with the ball in his hands on returns and letting his instincts as an athlete takeover, he show’s that he’s special. Definition of an upside recruit.”
Jon Jennings, UMGoBlog: “…He shows great speed and ability to cover a large portion of the field and for his 6'1" 180 pound frame he is not scared to put his pads on someone.”
