Matt Pargoff of the Wolverine.com (Rivals) recently ranked the top WR's in the Big Ten, Greg Mathews came in at 2nd. "Hampered by a nagging ankle injury as a junior, Mathews did not produce as well as expect last fall, but was still one of the Wolverines' leading receivers with 35 catches for 409 yards (11.7 yards per catch) and two touchdowns. He is also one of the Wolverines' top punt return options."
Michigan brings back most of the players of what was a very young offense last year, which should make the unit as a whole much better. If freshman quarterback Tate Forcier can live up to his reputation as an accurate passer, it will also help all of the wide receivers greatly.
