Rush has been visiting Ann Arbor this weekend and there has been much speculation on whether he will commit and whether or not U of M would accept a commitment at this time from another Defensive End/Outside Linebacker type at this time.

HIGHLIGHTS
QUOTES
Rush on himself: “I’m a good pass rusher. I can get off the line quickly and I really can’t be blocked. I play quick and smart, but I still want to improve my reading and hand techniques.”
ANALYSIS
Scout: “For the most part Marcus Rush lines up as a defensive end at the high school level. In college Rush would be a great player in the 3-4 as he's got the size to be an outside linebacker or defensive end. Tough, with the ability to play fast, Marcus Rush is one of Ohio's top prospects in the Class of 2010.”
Scouts, Inc.: “Rush has a pretty good last name for a defensive end prospect and when it is all said and done he is not a bad prospect either. He plays defensive end in high school and that is where he will likely fit best at the college level. He has solid size and displays on film the frame to pack on more good weight. He has a solid get-off, but you would like to see him be more consistent in his quickness off the ball and in his alignment.. He stays active and will get his hands up when he can not get to the quarterback. He has the ball skills to make a play on the ball when the opportunity is there. Rush is a good football player with some upside. He has a get-it-done type feel to his game and should develop into a productive defender at the college level.”
