Joseph Boyd, UMGoBlog.com: “Big framed WR with great size and strength, doubles as a DE for his HS team which is rare for a WR. Does a great job of shielding the ball and boxing out smaller defenders. Decent route runner but wasn’t asked to run very complex routes. Smooth athlete that easily transitions between speeds. Very good runner after the catch and shows good vision with the ball in his hands. Not a burner and lacks the elite speed and acceleration needed to separate from defenders vertically. Tends to allow the ball to get into his body instead of catching it with his hands. Will make for very good possession receiver and redzone target. Better route running and speed training could turn him into an all-around elite WR but is not at that level yet. As of now Treadwell looks like a taller version of Junior Hemmingway.” . . . → Read More: Profile for 2013 U of M Recruit Laquon Treadwell
