Some talented dribbling in this actual game tape…

Scouts, Inc.: “Morris is one of the more debatable players on the west coast. He has a great frame with long armsDMorris and his athleticism has improved considerably over the years. Furthermore, as his strength has increased so has  the consistency of his jump shot. Although he is listed as a point guard, I feel his best position is the 2-guard. Two summers ago he played very well as Brandon Jennings running mate where he didn’t have to make the decisions (can be very turnover prone) and was primarily just a finisher. He does have great size for the one, but he lacks elite DMorris2quickness and his decision-making is still troublesome. He leaves his feet while passing and he tries to make the spectacular play far too often. He’ll need to clean up those areas of his game if he expects to play immediately at Michigan.”

Scout: “A slithery athleticism is what you’ll find when you watch Morris. With good ball  handling skills, his vision and ability to push the ball up court is what will get him on the court early. His size is also in his favor. Expect many different guard rotations, especially with Morris and Lucas-Perry able to play point or two guard.  He possesses a good outside shot and can create his own shot when need be.”

TomW09, MGoBlog: “(Morris is) a legit college PG with size. Something we haven’t had since, well since before I got to Michigan, that’s for sure. Morris has an above average handle and a good head on him. He’s a guy that you look at and say "he’s the future." It’ll be fun to see what he can do with JB teaching him.”
