ANALYSIS

NUC Football: “Does a good job of turning and running with receivers down the field, and appears to be an aggressive tackler. He is quite strong for a kid his size. Not as quick as his teammate, Dior Mathis, but few are. But like Mathis, Hollowell will be vulnerable in covering taller receivers.”

Jon Jennings, UMGoBlog.com: At 5’8" 170 Hollowell must play bigger then he is.  He has great leaping ability and plays very physical for a corner at his size.  Hollowell anticipates routes well and is able to burst out of his back pedal to break on the ball.  He has great hands for a corner prospect.  He’ll have to get lower in his back pedal and learn to keep his legs moving when he creates contact.

Thunder, TouchTheBanner: “He lacks the elite athleticism and speed that the other two seemed to have. Hollowell does have excellent hands and adjusts well to the ball when it’s in the air. But I’m afraid that bigger and/or faster wide receivers will give him trouble at the next level.”

Thomas Welcher, Cass Tech H.C.: “He’s aggressive, tough. He’s smart, good head on his shoulders.”
