On Being Selected to play in the NUC All-World Game (12/27/10): “I am very excited and honored to play in the first ever All World Game. It is always a special feeling to be part of something fresh and new, so I wanted to thank the NUC for recognizing my talents. I truly think (being selected to the first All World Game) is a blessing.”
Scouts Inc., ESPN.com: “Taylor has been employed as an athlete on this roster due to his versatility, speed and ball skills. He is a feisty, tough prospect that we feel has the most upside to be a cornerback at the next level with experience as a return specialist as well. Is slightly undersized, but plays big … His size may limit his effectiveness to match-up versus bigger, stronger wide receivers. Taylor is a good prospect overall and his versatility provides value.
Sean O’Connell, UMGoBlog.com: “A very physical cornerback prospect. He is a little raw technique wise, but he is really physical at the line of scrimmage. If he does get behind the receiver, he has great recovery speed to get back into the play. He is also a solid tackler and pretty good in run support. Taylor will probably need a redshirt year, but he has a load of potential and I could see him being a two year starter down the road.”
