Name: Csont’e York
Position: Wide Receiver
Height & Weight: 6’2” 180 lbs.
High School: Chandler Park Eagles (MI)
On his commitment: “As soon as I called them, I was like, ‘You were right, you changed me, I’m not a State guy, I’m a Wolverine.’ I was really surprised when they offered. They said I’ve been under their radar and some of them said in my highlights I made it look too easy, they had to see me in a camp. I’ve been showing out in these camps.”
Allen Trieu, Scout.com: “Long, lean receiver who does a great job of tracking the football, adjusting to passes in the area and controlling his body to make tough and acrobatic catches. Has great hands and leaping ability. He’s not a 4.4 guy, but has a solid burst and can create separation both underneath and downfield. He’s not one who will give you a ton after the catch, but he has all the tools to be a productive college receiver.”
DGDestroys, MaizenBrew.com: “The potential York flashes in his highlight tape is exciting. He definitely needs to utilize a college level S&C program, and add an element of physicality to his play. However, both flash sufficient athleticism on tape to justify a fair degree of optimism.”
