On Michigan: “Michigan has a great football program with a lot of tradition, I wouldn’t put Michigan above anyone right now but they’re definitely going to be a school I’ll be considering.”

Key Factors in Recruitment: “I want to be comfortable with the coaching staff. I want to be around people that I like for four years, and I want to be able to go to a school where I’ll have the opportunity to get on the field early. I want to play for a team that will want me to catch the ball out of the tight end position.”

Jon Jennings, “Breneman has prototypical tight end size.  However he is athletic enough that he lined up at WR his sophomore season.  He has great hands and an uncanny ability to get the ball at its highest point.  Another great thing about Breneman is his concentration.  His highlight film showcases this a few times as he is able to haul in tipped passes as well as hang onto balls while getting hit.  His speed is above average for his size.  In the open field, it is rare to see a 6’5" kid with the balance and ability that Breneman has.  There is not much blocking footage of him so that part of his game is up in the air.  However it would be safe to assume due to his size and athletic ability he would be at least above average in that department.”
