Michigan is currently in play for many four-star corner backs, one of which being Cole Luke, a 6’0, 170 pound corner out of Chandler (Ariz.) Hamilton. Coach Ferrigno is Cole’s main recruiter for Michigan and they have spoken recently about his recruitment. Ferrigno said that they liked what they saw from his highlight tape and that he is a corner that they need. They also talked about Cole taking a possible unofficial visit to Michigan as soon as possible. Cole has no leaders at the moment and plans to make a decision after the conclusion of his senior season.
Seto-LaSalle tight end Scott Orndoff from Pittsburgh (Pa.) is currently committed to Wisconsin, but has started to open back his recruitment due to recent coaching changes. Scott has visited Pittsburgh and Virginia and has came away impressed with what both schools have to offer. Scott plans to visit Michigan soon, and he is very excited about what they have to offer him.
Dayton (Ohio) four-star linebacker Mike McCray has set a decision date for March 8th. McCray will announce between Tennessee, Michigan, South Carolina, Arizona, Oklahoma, and Illinois. McCray has yet to visit Michigan, but some coaches have visited his school before and he wants to make it out to Michigan next week.
Four-star cornerback Cameron Walker from Loyola (Ca.) was ecstatic when he first heard the news that he had just landed his first offer, from Michigan. Cameron said that the offer "came out of nowhere", and "didn’t believe it at first", but afterwards he started to get very excited. While Cameron hasn’t spoken with any Michigan coaches, yet, he has received mail from them. Cameron has family in Ann Arbor and would like to make it out there sometime in May.
WR Demorea Stringfellow out of Moreno Valley (Ca.) is a three-star prospect according to 24/7Sports, and currently holds five BCS offers. One of which is from Michigan. Demorea Stringfellow recently spoke with Coach Ferrigno about Michigan and asked Demorea if he was interested in being a Wolverine and Demorea responded with;"Yes, I’d be very interested. " Demorea wants to try and make it up to Michigan before the start of his senior season, but if that doesn’t work out as planned, he’ll definitely take an official there.
Alex Anzalone from Reading (Pa.) has twenty offers at the moment and is one of the most highly coveted players in Pennsylvania this year. Alex said that the "quality of academics and their big-time football tradition" is really appealing to him. Anzalone plans to visit both Notre Dame and Michigan the weekend of March 23rd, unofficially. Alex also said that Michigan is recruiting him at the SAM position.
