Eastern Michigan Post-Game Quote:
“You have to score from the one-inch line. Can’t score from the half yard line, you’re going to have a hard time winning, so that hurt us. As the game went along, Denard [Robinson] made some plays in there, and I felt that it took some of our steam away to be honest with you. I thought we had a hard time with him today.” – Eastern Michigan Head Coach Ron English

Weird Play of the Week:
Wolverine Alumni Tweets of the Week:
@JalenRose tweeted what all Lions’ Fans are thinking:
As a Lions fan its refreshing to see a QB (Stafford)play at a pro bowl level..no disrespect to Gary D/Hipple/AWare/Joey H/Scott M/Kitna etc
@JayFeely let us know his opinion on Tom Brady’s play so far this season:
Brady is poised to obliterate Marino’s passing record. He has 6 receivers/TE/rb to distribute the ball to, impossible to defend
And @DhaniJones shared a picture with everyone post-sprint from the Run Like Hell event w/Lance Armstrong:
MGoAuction Item of the Day:
Highlighting Wolverines in the NFL:
Tom Brady stole the show again completing 31 of 40 passes for 423 yards and 3 TD’s with no INT’s. While Charles Woodson led the charge for Wolverines in the NFL by picking off Cam Newton twice and also recovering a fumble. SI’s Peter King broke down Woodson’s game:
He played a phenomenal game Sunday, one of those games where you realize how vital a great cornerback is to a defense. With Cam Newton looking to extend a 13-7 lead late in the second quarter, Newton trusted his freakishly strong arm and threw a pea 30 yards down the right sideline for Steve Smith. Woodson zipped in front of Smith at the last second and plucked it out of the air. On the first Panther series of the third quarter, Woodson made a more impressive pick, again in front of Smith, catching a line drive on the edge of his fingertips; watching the replay, it’s hard to imagine how Woodson held on.
Whats on the Big Ten Network:
