Eleonore Rocks – 2012 Season

As 2011 comes to a close, 2012 brings many new opportunies from everyone across the nation.  No more is that apparent than for Eleonore rocks, as I mentioned yesterday in my article about our amazing alum, Andy Potts.  In fact, 2012 is looking to be not only a great racing season for the team, but the expansion of the team has started to take a global approach already in it’s short time.  Our plans for this year are not only to continue to effectively spread the word about the foundation, raise money for the terminally ill children and their families, but offer our fans and supporters a more intimate  experience as well with all of our athlete’s being more active with posting pictures, chatting with our community, and even working together to find more families and places to donate.

As Andy Potts told me on the phone the other day, this is truly a team, and while no one can help an individual race better during an event, we all can work together effectively to ensure this foundation is going to have the best 2012 it possibly can, and not without every last person getting credit for every contribution.  The best aspect about today as well, being January 10, 2012, is the fact the team roster will be announced.  Many people have shown their support and admiration for months now, and are waiting to see if their hard work has paid off enough to be chosen.  These individuals can truly see the impact the foundation has made, and in Andy’s words, the foundation “has a wide reach, and an individual impact.”  I couldn’t agree more, and many individuals I have spoken with have often said just how amazing of a job the foundation has done so far, and with all the recognition they have gained, it will only help fuel the success of the overall goal.  Leading the group will be Captains Bryan Fugate and Jason Indorf, and the biggest element is to have an even more successful year than last year, and to keep building on what the initial team has laid out as a foundation.  Any questions for Eleonore Rocks, be sure to post them on their Facebook page, or shoot them a message on Twitter!
